CANDLE GIRL
(Met Naive Man)
This story is inspired by a girl who has a heart like a candle. She has fortitude in her life, is responsive to the people around her, but sometimes she sacrifices herself for the benefit of others. Romantic story of her romance with naive man tinged with the reality of life background such as: religion, family, culture, and the past love story that she experienced. This is the interesting story.
The story began around 1999
I named " Hayna". My age is now 21 years old. I am a beautiful girl. This time go to college far from where I live. I had a family background that was well established in my county. I lecture at one of universities, my activities were colored with a lecture, made friends, and other activities of existing campus. I had many male friends in college and one of them named "Ruman" . At first "Ruman" in my eyes was a male figure with the ordinary. We were not close friends like the other men I knew in college. Because I saw Ruman had individualistic character who was just focus on his college. Ruman is a man who was not my type to be a close friend. He was thin, unkempt hair, and his shoes were rarely washed. Ruman is a male figure who dirty and very different and contradictory to me. I was a girl who was demanded by my family to maintain the cleanliness and appearance.
At one time until there was any gathering events of friends that were held at Ruman’s house. At the meeting I met with Ruman’s parents. At first I imagined Ruman’s parents were figures which were not much different from Ruman coupled with the condition of Ruman’s house.
It's time we get together at Ruman’s house, "gosh" I was very surprised with my shadow about parents and Ruman’s house. Ruman’s parents Ruman were a simple loop, authoritative, friendly, and wise. His house was different from the situation envisaged initially by me. The house was large, clean, and neat. Maybe that's the beginning of my sympathy on Ruman. I also observed female friends who were amazed at the figure of Ruman. But many mysterious secrets that make people admire him.
